Modern continuous olive-oil extraction

Since the beginning, our primary goal has always been to improve and evolve our production processes to offer an ever-improving quality product. In 1960, we made a significant leap forward by abandoning the old millstones and becoming the first oil mill in the area to introduce olive washing before processing and, above all, adopting MOLINOVA, a modern stainless steel hammer crusher developed by Pieralisi. Thanks to these cutting-edge technologies for the time, we were able to implement a continuous olive processing system, significantly improving efficiency and, most importantly, the quality of the oil obtained.

In 1979, our oil mill started a new phase of innovation: we left the historic premises that had hosted us for hundreds of years, transforming them into the museum you are visiting today, and moved into our current modern and spacious facility. In conjunction with the relocation, we replaced the old presses with an advanced continuous extraction system, consisting of a Sicilia three-tank crusher from Veraci and a state-of-the-art decanter, the Veraci Super Uno. The Mario Concu company, representative for Sardinia, presented the innovative system at the Sardinia Trade Fair in Cagliari before installing it in our facility, as shown in the photo above.
Despite the significant financial investment, as evidenced by the displayed quote, the adoption of these new technologies allowed us to further improve the oil extraction process
